I guess Otaku thinks he can just go around inventing new words. That’s fine, I guess, but… otakusphere?

Otakusphere?!?!

The sad thing is I know I won’t be able to resist using it. It’s going to leap out in conversation sometime soon. And I know I’ll get strange looks when it does.

  1. btw – presently otakusphere is a Google Slice – a search term that returns exactly one hit. Not for long, though :)

    google slicing is harder than it looks…

    Heh. Just used “otakusphere” in an e-mail… we may have to arraign Fledgling Otaku for war crimes if it catches on.

    Of course, I was writing about the popularity of Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya when I wrote it…
