They should totally do this for Mass Effect 3.

Reading the initial comments at the Escapist, I think you are at the top of a few more Death List, Shamus :-)

    1. Jason says:

The Escapist comments are a cesspool. Every once in a while I click on one of their forum topics or comment threads and immediately regret it.

      1. Axle says:

There are gems in the cesspool, but it takes time and guts to fish them out.

Good thing we can comment and discuss Shamus’s articles here.

      2. neothoron says:

I did not find that the comments on that particular topic were that bad.

        1. CuChullain says:

Nor I. If you want a cess-pool of comments, check out the YouTube community.

        2. Jason says:

I don’t read any of their comment threads anymore.

  2. kjones says:

    Aww yeah. Playin’ it classy.

  3. kasper says:

Hmm now you’ve made me wonder what female head on male torso shepard looks like. And typing that sentence has made me wonder what bioware would make of a romance scene between those two characters. Shamus, why do you do this to me…

    1. Yar Kramer says:

In the immortal words of M. Bison: “YES! YES!

  4. Pickly says:

Well, you know how it is, the best scientists demand some artistic leway in their work. :)

(It did take me looking at the strip a couple of times to figure out exactly what the change was, though.)

  5. RTBones says:

Actually, I lay it all at the feet of the bean counters. Science isnt cheap, and the first thing that always gets cut when you’re trying to save money is testing. Looks like the acceptance test got cut a little short.

    Funny stuff.

  6. Axle says:

    I think it’s a great idea for ME3.
They can claim it’s the result of radiation exposure, caused by spending too much time with the planet scanner…

  7. Nyaz says:

So now Shepard wouldn’t need Liara or Thane or whoever to get through the sex scen-NO BAD BAD DON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT EWW

  8. Galad says:

I wouldn’t envy Shepard – or whoever man, for that matter – that’s struck by this cruel fate =)

  9. Yar Kramer says:

Okay, Shamus, you’ve hit another “made me burst out laughing” spot. XD

  10. Sean Riley says:

    Oh man.

See, the hilarious thing here is? I got that bug playing ME1 yesterday. Seriously. On Noveria, all the male scientists got given female torsos. Seems like that bioweapon they were working on had unintended side effects.

I reinstalled the game on Xbox from the disc. We’ll see if that fixes the bug.

  11. Scourge says:

That of course works the other way around. :D
